Kaiy is your personal light journal for photographers and visual storytellers. This agreement outlines how we interact when you use our app—designed to help you chase the perfect light, again and again. By using Kaiy, you agree to these terms.

No Login Required

We believe in privacy and simplicity. You don’t need to create an account, log in, or share any personal information to use Kaiy. Your experience starts immediately, with no barriers.

What You Can Do with Kaiy

Kaiy lets you:

• Create spots for your favorite locations
• Capture moments and tag them with light conditions (golden hour, blue hour, overcast, etc.)
• Compare two moments side-by-side using the interactive slider
• Browse your collection in a beautiful masonry gallery
• Filter your photos by spot or light type
• Discover your shooting patterns with elegant stats

Your Data, Your Device

All your data—spots, photos, tags, and stats—stays local on your device. We never collect, store, or share your information with third parties. There’s no cloud sync, no data uploads, and no tracking. Your journal is yours, and yours alone.

Using Kaiy Responsibly

We ask that you use Kaiy for personal, positive purposes. Please don’t:

• Upload content that infringes on others’ copyrights or intellectual property
• Share or store offensive, harmful, or illegal content
• Use Kaiy in a way that disrupts the app’s functionality for yourself or others

Updates to Kaiy

We may release updates to improve features, fix bugs, or add new tools. Sometimes, this agreement might change too—we’ll notify you via in-app messages, and using the updated app means you agree to the new terms.

Ending Your Use

You can stop using Kaiy anytime—just uninstall the app. Since all data is local, it will be removed from your device when you uninstall. If we ever discontinue Kaiy, we’ll try to notify you in advance so you can save your data.
